Do you own synthetic turf? Then you already know that one of the best things about installing synthetic turf is that it is virtually maintenance free. However, there are a few things you can do to extend the life of your artificial lawn, especially if you have pets.

If your synthetic turf does not have infill, use a push broom or a rake to remove any debris and dust from the turf. Simply brush against the grain with a push broom to help eliminate any debris and dust. This method also stabilizes the fibers. We recommend using a push broom or a rake every three months to keep synthetic lawns clean and lush.

If you have pets or experience spills such as juice or soda, simply use water to clean up the mess. You can also use a mild detergent if you’re cleaning up after your dog or other pets. Watering your synthetic turf is also a great way to cool off the grass in temperature above 100 degrees.
