Russia Calling is a prestigious event for some of the UK's biggest companies to meet the top management of leading Russian businesses, aimed at encouraging direct dialogue with investors.
As part of the overall ambiance at the Andaz Hotel in London, Evergreens supplied 200 square metres of LazyLawn Wonder Yarn plastic grass, one of its leading products, to be used for walkways and an alternative flooring finish. It was a perfect showcase, and proved a big hit with delegates of both countries.
Wonder Yarn was the perfect fit for the occassion - its natural appearance gives it a genuine look and feel of a natural lawn. No surprise, then, that the LazyLawn team won rave reviews from British and Russian delegates for their display, with visitors admitting that the artificial lawn gave a first class finish to the walkways and event as a whole.
Evergreens UK is regularly invited to provide event flooring surfaces to give a "real feel" to the occassion. The event in London was another high profile opportunity for the company whose products will soon be seen nightly on national television in the coming weeks. Evergreens have provided the imitation lawn for this series of 'Big Brother', which gets underway shortly on Channel 5.
And international athletes taking part in this year's Olympic Games in London will be welcomed by LazyLawn products when they use Heathrow's temporary terminal, being built specifically to cope with the Olympians as they head for home in the three days after the closing ceremony.
